The Shoei RF-1400 Accolade, part of SHOEI’s innovative and sophisticated RF line, brings together nearly four decades of helmet design experience. Launched in 2021, the RF-1400 model showcases the optimal balance of aerodynamics, functionality, and safety. The helmet was rigorously tested in SHOEI’s advanced wind tunnel facility, ensuring that it offers excellent ventilation and reduced drag for an enhanced riding experience.

Featuring six air intake and four exhaust vents, the RF-1400 Accolade is engineered to maintain the rider’s cool and comfort in all conditions. The helmet further boasts a new airtight window beading that guarantees a wind and waterproof seal of the shield, making your ride safe and enjoyable regardless of the weather.

With its intelligent design, the RF-1400 Accolade provides a clear view and shields your eyes from damaging UV rays, thanks to the CWR-F2 shield. The conveniently placed release button at the center ensures a smooth lift of the helmet, making it easy to wear and remove.

The helmet’s impressive structure involves several layers of fiberglass coupled with a dual-layer, multi-density EPS liner that promises superior protection during an impact. The exclusive Max-Dry interior material takes rider comfort to new heights by wicking away sweat twice as fast as traditional nylon interiors. The liner, which is both removable and washable, makes the helmet very easy to maintain.

Despite the robust construction and premium features, the RF-1400 Accolade weighs a mere 3 pounds 10 ounces. Truly representing SHOEI’s commitment to quality, the helmet complies with Snell M2020D and DOT standards.
