The Arai Rapide is a retro, 80s-style streetfighter helmet with a super-fibre shell, mesh chin vents, and a VAS-VC shield.

Inspired by naked motorcycles of the 1980s, the Rapide features a clean, minimalistic design that reflects the aggressive style of the era. However, it also comes with the protection, comfort, and trademark rounded shape of modern Arai R&D.

The shell is constructed from Arai’s PB e-cLc and reinforced in specific impact areas for extra protection. Its highly light build reduces the strain on the neck. The helmet utilises Arai’s Variable Axis System, VAS, for improved glance-off performance and better deflecting impact energy away from the helmet.

The Arai Rapide’s ventilation system uses multiple intake vents at the front, allowing air to flow through hidden air channels to cool your head down while riding. The air is channelled out of the rear exhaust vents to avoid overheating.

The fully removable interior is made from antibacterial Eco Pure textile with natural antibacterial properties and a peel-away system with space to accommodate intercom speakers. The Emergency Release System allows easy paramedic access in an accident, the Double-D ring is secure and reliable, and the included VAS Max Vision Visor is user-friendly and easy to remove and install.
