Description

The Shoei RF-1400 MM93 Retro is the latest addition to the illustrious RF line from SHOEI. This helmet, unveiled in 2021, has been thoroughly tested in SHOEIs wind tunnel facility, a space where the helmet’s aerodynamics and ventilation capacities were fine-tuned. The helmet’s ventilation system is composed of six air intake and four exhaust vents, which work to keep your head cool during your ride. This model reduces upward lift and drag, outperforming the model it succeeded, the RF-1200.

The helmet’s new window beading provides an airtight seal that is wind and waterproof. The CWR-F2 shield offers a clear view and protection against damaging UV rays, while the shield release button has been centrally located for a smooth lift.

Protection during impact is ensured by multiple layers of fiberglass and a dual-layer, multi-density EPS liner. The inside of the helmet has been designed with the exclusive Max-Dry material, which absorbs and disperses sweat two times more efficiently than conventional nylon.
