Shield tint is Photochromic with a visual light transmission (VLT) value of 71-20%, perfect for use on bright sunny days. Photochromic lenses aredesigned to darken in response to ultraviolet (UV) light and become clear again when UV light is absent.They offer a convenient solution for transitioning between lighting conditions without needing to switch between different shields.Tinted lens are designed to be worn during the day and help to reducesunlight and glare during daylight hours, as well as enhance visibility, and reduce eye strain. Tinted shields should never be worn at dusk, early morning hours, or with poor lighting conditions.
