The X-Lite X-1005 Ultra Carbon Powertrainis a dual homologated flip-up with a carbon fibre shell, Carbon Fitting Racing Experience cheek pads and an internal sun visor.

Striking the perfect balance of a full-face helmet with the convenience of an open-face, this modular helmet is ideal for touring and year-round wear. The X-1005’s shell is made from high-content carbon fibre, which makes it incredibly strong and resistant to impacts while maintaining minimal weight and maximising performance.

The patented Dual Action opening system positioned at the centre of the chin can be released with one hand to raise the chin guard up, allowing you to switch between open and closed modes securely without accidentally opening while riding. For ventilation, the X-1005 features sliding vents at the crown and chin bar for cool air circulation and flushing humidity out the rear exhaust.

The helmet is equipped with a scratch-resistant, fog-resistant Pinlock visor as well as a VPS dropdown sun visor for effective sunblocking. The “Carbon fitting racing experience” comfort inner padding is made from active carbon filaments, designed to regulate temperature, reduce static and dissipate built-up moisture.

The X-1005 has 3 different shell sizes for optimal sizing, as well as an elongated chin guard for improved comfort and a secure Micrometric2 fastening.
